Though it does add functionality to thesystem that brought it's capabilities up to par for base model personal homecomputers of the time.It featured dualcartridge ports one for expanded memory cartridges such as the 4k and 16kmodules as well as a second slot for game and program cartridges. This allowedfor more powerful and useful programs on the Aquarius such as the FinForm personalfinance cartridge, which required more than the systems 4k of base ram.
